Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the front of the smartphone, above the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition for unlocking. This compatible part is designed for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
When the front camera is faulty, you will usually notice a blurry, black or frozen image, or a complete lack of feedback during video calls. Replacing the module restores a sharp image and normal operation of photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid any contact with the ribbon cables. After fitting, check the image, face unlock and autofocus. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
