Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the front of the smartphone. It is used for selfies, video calls and, depending on your device settings, facial recognition unlock. This part, compatible with the Galaxy S10 Lite, lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurred, black or distorted, or when the camera app no longer opens on the front camera.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery if your DIY level allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, protected from static electricity, with an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. Use suitable tools and suction cups or plastic spudgers to separate the screen without forcing it. Do not bend the ribbon cables and handle them with care.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and start the phone. Check the sharpness, exposure and operation of the camera in the camera app, as well as facial unlock if you use it. If the water resistance of the screen assembly was affected, also check that the seals are properly in place.
