Description
The front camera is the photo module on the screen side, used for selfies, video calls and face recognition unlock. This part, compatible with the Galaxy S10 Plus, lets you replace a damaged module, for example if the image is blurred, a dark area appears, or the camera no longer activates.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid any pressure on the screen. Moderate heat is enough to loosen the screen if needed; never heat strongly, and do not puncture or bend the lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using the phone.
Once reassembly is complete, check that the camera works in the photo app, in video mode, and during a test call. Also check face recognition and the sealing of the screen assembly before closing the device for good.
