Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Galaxy S20+, lets you replace a damaged module, for example if it no longer focuses, shows a blurry image or no longer switches on during video calls.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a flat, clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use tools suited to opening the device without forcing it. Carefully disconnect the fragile ribbon cables so you do not damage them.
Once fitting is complete, switch the phone back on and test the camera before closing the casing for good: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and start a test video call. Also check that focus and brightness are correct. If the battery is swollen, do not use it.
