Description
The front camera is the module that captures the images for your selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, model SM-G990B. It lets you replace the front camera when it no longer works properly, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or no longer launches in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit space with a flat surface. Use suitable tools and a tray to keep the screws organised. For work on the electronics, avoid static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the flexible cable and connector with care, without bending or forcing them.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the chassis. Check sharpness, brightness and correct operation in a photo or video app. If the phone heats up abnormally or you notice a problem, stop and disconnect the battery before any further intervention.
