Description
This front camera is a compatible replacement part for the Samsung Galaxy S22, reference SM-S901B. It is used to replace the front camera module, the one that handles selfies and video calls. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, frozen or missing in the camera app, and focus can appear abnormal.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, in a dry place, with suitable tools and an antistatic tweezer to limit electrostatic discharge. Note the position of the screws and ribbon cables to make reassembly easier. Never force fragile connectors.
Once the fitting is complete, check the front camera display in the camera app, then test sharpness, brightness and video calling. Then carefully refit the cover. If the battery is swollen, do not use it, and never puncture or bend it.
