Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Samsung Galaxy S23, reference SM-S911B. It is used to take photos and videos facing you, for video calls and selfies. When the current part is blurry, black, frozen or missing from photo apps, this module can often restore the front camera's function.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity. Never force the ribbon cables and do not bend the flexible cable. To open the device, gently heat the screen with a hair dryer on a moderate setting, without exceeding a reasonable temperature.
After fitting, check the front camera in the photo app by testing photos, videos and video calls. Also check that the screen and touch function work correctly before fully closing the device.
