Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the screen side of your Galaxy S23+. It is used for selfies, video calls and face authentication. This compatible part replaces the faulty module: if your front camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer appears in apps, replacing it may solve the problem.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, to avoid discharging static electricity onto the components. Use suitable tools to open the phone without forcing it. The ribbon cables are fragile: disconnect them carefully, without bending them.
After fitting, check that the camera works in the camera app in selfie mode, then in a video call. Also check the focus and image brightness. If the battery was disconnected, let the phone charge fully before switching it back on. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop immediately and do not use it any more.
