Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Galaxy S23 FE, reference SM-S711B. It is used for taking photos and videos facing yourself, making video calls and using facial recognition to unlock the phone. A damaged front camera may show up as a blurred, black or pixelated image, or as a complete absence of image in photo and video conferencing apps.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so as not to scratch the screen or pull on the ribbon cables. Handle the new part by its edges to avoid touching the lens.
Once the fitting is complete, check the camera's operation in the photo app, in video and during a test call. Also check facial recognition and the seal if your device has one. If the phone heats up abnormally or a part seems badly positioned, stop and start the fitting again.

- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Handle the ribbon cables with care, without forcing or bending them
- Use an anti-static mat to limit electrostatic discharges
- Test the camera for photos, video and during a call after fitting
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use it if it is swollen
