Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Galaxy S7 Active. It is used to take photos and videos of yourself, especially for video calls. If your front camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer switches on, this part may solve the problem, provided the fault really comes from the module itself.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharges that could damage the components. Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending or pulling them.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the front camera in several lighting conditions, then check that the preview displays correctly. For a battery, run a few full charge cycles. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it.
