Description
The front camera is the photo module on the front of the phone, on the screen side, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible replacement part is designed for the Galaxy S8 Active. It restores front-facing shooting when the current camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer launches in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery where the design allows. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools and without excessive pressure, so as not to damage the ribbon cable or the chassis. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once fitting is complete, check focus, brightness and operation in the camera app, then test video calls. If the current part has a faulty ribbon cable, also check its connector. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery and do not use a swollen cell.
