Description
The front camera is the module that captures your selfies and video calls, located at the top of your Galaxy S9 screen. This compatible part replaces the current one when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing during video conferences and front-facing photos.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal surface to discharge static electricity, which can damage electronic components. Never force the ribbon cables and only use moderate heat to lift the screen.
Once the fitting is complete, check the camera before closing the phone: open the camera app, test the selfie and video modes, then check focus and brightness. If the image remains abnormal, go back over the ribbon cable connectors.
