Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the front of the device, on the screen side. It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferences. This compatible part is designed for the Samsung Galaxy XCover7. It replaces the faulty front camera when the image is blurry, black, distorted or missing, or when the device no longer detects it.
Before you begin, switch off the smartphone completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, clear surface with suitable tools so that you do not scratch the screen or damage the connectors. Avoid excessive heat and never force the ribbon cables, which are fragile. Protect yourself against static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once assembly is complete, switch the device back on and open the camera app to check the sharpness, colours and operation of the front camera. Also test a video call. If the image remains abnormal, check that the ribbon cable is properly connected and that the screws are correctly tightened.
