Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the top of the screen. It is used for video calls, selfies and facial authentication when your device supports it. This compatible front camera is intended for the GT 5G model and allows you to replace the current part when it is blurry, black, frozen or missing from the camera display.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface in a well-lit place, and use an antistatic tool to protect the electronic components. Take time to note the position of the ribbon cables and connectors before detaching them, and photograph each step to make reassembly easier.
Once the camera is replaced, check its operation before fully closing the device: test the photo, the video and the camera during a call. If the battery was disconnected, switch the device back on only after a visual check. And if your device's battery swells, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
