Description
The front camera is the photo module located on the front of the smartphone. It is used for selfies, video calls and unlocking certain apps that use facial recognition. This compatible GT 7 Pro part lets you replace the current component when the image is blurry, dark, frozen or missing.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Use tools suited to opening the device so as not to scratch the screen or damage the ribbon cables. Keep the small screws in a precise order.
Once the module is fitted, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check focus, brightness, the microphone during a video call and facial recognition if you use it. If in doubt, refit the old part to compare.
