Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Honor 20 (2019). It restores front-facing photography when the sensor is cracked, clouded, or no longer activates, as well as video calls and portrait-mode photos. If the image is blurry, dark or missing in the camera app, the fault often comes from this component.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with a plastic opening tool so you don't scratch the chassis. Avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cable, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, power the phone back on and test both cameras in the camera app, then start a video call to check the microphone and screen. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally. If the battery swells or overheats, stop using the device.
