Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Honor 20 Lite (2019). It is used to take photos and videos facing you, for video calls and video conferences. If your selfie is blurry, black, distorted or no longer displays, the current part is often the cause, and this replacement may fix these faults.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat or by first discharging static electricity by touching a metal surface. Work step by step and note the order of the screws and connectors. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it or forcing the connectors.
After fitting, check the operation before fully closing the device: open the camera app, test the front camera, the flashes and the sound, then make a test video call. If the current part shows a battery-related fault, such as swelling, do not use it, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
