Description
The front camera is the photo module on the front of the phone, next to the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition. If it no longer switches on, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, the part is often the cause.
This compatible front camera is designed for the Honor 600 Lite. It is a third-party manufacture, offered as an economical solution to replace the faulty part. Before any work, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and hands free of static electricity.
After fitting, check that the camera is recognised in the camera app and that the image is sharp. Also check the proximity sensor and screen brightness, as they are close to the module. If the camera does not work, recheck the ribbon cable connection before concluding.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before disassembling
- Avoid static electricity while handling
- Do not bend the ribbon cable and handle it with care
- Check the camera in the camera app after fitting
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
