Description
This front camera is a compatible spare part designed for the Honor 70 (2022). It handles front-facing shots, especially selfies and video calls. When the front camera stops working, the screen may show a black, blurred or distorted image, and the camera app may refuse to open.
Before starting the replacement, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, using a suitable tool to open the device without forcing it. Be careful of static electricity, which can damage electronic components, and avoid excessive heat. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
Once the part is fitted, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check the sharpness, brightness and operation of the camera app. If the battery was disconnected, let it recharge, then carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the system.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Protect the assembly from static electricity
- Test the camera before closing the casing
- Never use a swollen or damaged battery
Fitting
