Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of your Honor 8 Lite (2017). It is used for taking selfies, making video calls and using facial recognition when these features are available on your device. It also helps fix the most common faults: blurry image, black screen on the front camera, or a camera app that can no longer use the front lens.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the case. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Remove the current part carefully, without forcing it, then fit the new camera, taking care to align the connector properly.
After fitting, check the image in the camera app and test videos as well. Refit the front panel only once everything works, then check the seals. If a problem persists, recheck the connectors before concluding that the module is faulty.

- Handle the camera by its edges, without touching the lens.
- Test photo and video before closing the front of the phone.
- Never use a device whose battery is swollen.
