Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. On the Honor 8A Pro (2019), this compatible part lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurred, black, pixelated or missing in photo and video conferencing apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, as it tears easily. Do not bend the battery and never try to puncture it.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check sharpness, brightness and the absence of noise in a photo app, then during a video call. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it immediately.
