Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Honor 9 Lite (2017). It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, for video calls and selfies. If your front camera is blurry, black, distorted or no longer launches in the camera app, the cause often lies in the module itself or its connector cable. This replacement restores a sharp image without changing your phone.
Before you start, switch off the device completely and disconnect the battery where the mechanics allow. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a plastic spudger. Avoid bending the ribbon cable and do not touch the gold contacts with your fingers. Discharge static electricity before handling the components. If the current part is badly damaged, remove it gently without forcing it.
Once assembly is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the housing. Open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and check sharpness, focus and lighting, then make a quick video call. If the image still looks abnormal, check that the ribbon cable is properly clicked in.
