Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the screen side of your phone. It is used for video calls, selfies and facial authentication. This part, compatible with the Honor Magic5 Lite (2023), lets you replace a faulty module, for example if the image is blurred, black or distorted, or if the camera no longer appears in apps.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, as static electricity can damage electronic components. Use suitable tools without forcing anything, and note the position of the screws and connectors to make reassembly easier.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and check the camera before fully closing the device: test the focus, brightness and display in a photo or video app. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture or bend it.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work on an anti-static surface and do not force the connectors
- Test the camera before fully closing the phone
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
