Description
The front camera is the module that captures your image for selfies and video calls. It sits in the upper part of the screen, usually under a notch or in a small opening. This part, compatible with the Honor Magic6 Pro (2024), lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurred, black, distorted or missing in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, away from dust, and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it, and never force the connectors. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and set it aside in a safe place.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the chassis: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode, then start a video call to check sharpness, colours and that the microphone works properly. If you have replaced the battery, carry out a few full charge cycles before heavy use.
