Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of your Honor X8b (2023). It is used for photos and videos in selfie mode, as well as for video calls. If your image is blurry, dark, pixelated, or if the screen shows an error related to the front camera, the module is often the cause.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and avoid any contact with the gold contacts. Remove the old camera carefully, without forcing it, then fit the compatible part, respecting the orientation and correct alignment of the ribbon cable connectors. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and open the camera app to test the front camera, both for photo and video. Check sharpness, brightness, and the absence of stripes or spots. If needed, take a few test shots in different lighting conditions before considering the repair complete.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Avoid static electricity: work on an antistatic surface
- Never force the ribbon cable when removing or fitting it
- Check the connector orientation before refitting the screws
- Test photo and video in selfie mode after fitting
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
