Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the top of the iPad 3 (2012) screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and some photo apps. This compatible part replaces the module when the image is blurry, black, distorted or missing.
Before you start, switch off the tablet and work on a clean surface with suitable tools. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, avoid excessive heat and protect yourself from static electricity. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the device.
After fitting, check that the camera works in the photo app and during a video call. Check that the ribbon cables are correctly seated before closing. If the tablet behaves abnormally, disconnect it and review your installation.
