Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera of the iPad Air 11" (2024). It is used for video calls, selfie photos and video conferences. It is useful when the image is blurred, black or missing, or when the camera no longer launches in apps.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use the device if the battery is swollen. Keep heat moderate while you work.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the front and rear cameras, the microphone and the screen, in the camera app and in a video conferencing app. If the battery was disconnected, let it recharge calmly and carry out a few full charge cycles for safe use.
