Description
The front camera is the photo and video module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and face recognition unlocking on the iPhone 12 mini. This manufacturer original part, or official « Service Pack » part, is compatible with references A2399, A2176, A2398 and A2400.
It lets you replace a front camera that is cracked, blurry, black or no longer working, as well as certain focus problems or distorted images. Performance and battery life are identical to new, since it is a manufacturer component.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Handle the module with care, without bending it, and protect yourself against static electricity. After replacement, check that the camera, the proximity sensor and face recognition work properly.
Tips
- Switch off the iPhone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Handle the flex cable gently, without bending or pulling it
- Protect the component from static electricity during fitting
- Test the camera, flash and Face ID after replacement
- Never pierce or overheat the device
