Description
This replacement front camera is designed for the iPhone 13 Pro, with model numbers A2638, A2483, A2636, A2639 and A2640. It is used for selfies and video calls. When faulty, the image may be blurry, black or missing, and Face ID may no longer work properly. This is a compatible part, made by a third party.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and controlled static electricity. Do not bend or force the ribbon cables, and handle the connectors with care.
After fitting, check the operation of the front camera, Face ID and the proximity sensor. Also test video calls. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it.
