Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition. This compatible part for iPhone 14 Plus (references A2886 and A2632) replaces the current front camera when it is damaged, blurred, black or no longer activates.
Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity. The ribbon cables are fragile: remove them carefully and avoid bending the connectors. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
Once the part is installed, check the focus, brightness and facial recognition function in the settings, then test a video call. Keep moderate heat during the operation and check the seal before fully closing the device.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work away from static electricity, on a clean surface
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending them
- Check focus and facial recognition after fitting
- Check the seal before closing the device again
