Description
This front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the module that takes selfies and video calls. It is compatible with the iPhone 14 Pro, references A2890 and A2650. It is used to replace a faulty front camera, for example a blurred, black or missing image during video calls, or a camera that no longer launches.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
Two tips after fitting: check the front camera before closing the phone, in the Camera app and then during a test video call, to confirm everything works. Only then refit the screws and check that no cable is trapped.
