Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the iPhone 15 Pro, references A3102 and A2848. It is used for taking photos and videos from the front, for video calls and video conferences. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, frozen or missing in the camera app and during calls.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Never puncture, bend or compress the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the phone and seek advice before any intervention.
Once fitting is complete, check that the front camera works in the camera app, that the screen flash and the shot are correct and that the proximity sensor responds properly. Also test a video call. Remember to note the reference of the current part to compare when replacing.
