Description
The front camera is the small module at the top of the screen that lets you take selfies, make video calls and use facial recognition. Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal surface. Never force the ribbon cables and handle them carefully so they are not bent or torn.
Once the fitting is complete, check the camera image before closing the device fully, then test the screen flash, the proximity sensor and facial recognition. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully and charge the device at a moderate temperature.
