Description
The front camera is the module that captures your selfies and video calls. On the iPhone 16 Pro, it sits at the top of the screen, at the notch or Dynamic Island depending on how the assembly is oriented. This compatible part replaces a damaged module, for example when the image is blurry, black or distorted, or when the front camera no longer appears in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it, to avoid short circuits while handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid electrostatic discharges, which can damage the sensor. Keep the screws in a small tray so they don't get mixed up with those of other components.
After fitting, check the camera before closing the device: test the focus, brightness and display in a photo or video call app, as well as face recognition if you use it. Make sure the seal and the ribbon cables are correctly in place. If the image remains abnormal, recheck the connection before concluding that the part is faulty.
