Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front module of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, that is the lens used for selfies, video calls and face recognition. It is useful when the image is blurry, black, distorted or missing on the lock screen or in photo and video call apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching an earthed metal part to limit electrostatic discharge. Never force the connectors and use suitable tools to open the device without bending the cables.
Once reassembly is finished, switch the phone back on and check sharpness, brightness and face recognition. If a battery was disconnected, a few full charge cycles will then let you check the overall stability of the device.
