Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small module at the top of the iPhone 17 screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and face recognition when this feature is in use. This compatible part is designed to replace the current part when it is damaged, for example in the case of a blurred image, dark areas, visual noise or no response from the camera.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface in a well-lit place, use suitable tools and avoid forcing anything. Take care not to bend the flex cable and do not put pressure on the screen. Avoid excessive heat and protect sensitive components from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check the camera before fully closing the screen: photo, video, autofocus and brightness. If a lithium battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it, and do not puncture or bend it.
