Description

The front camera is the small module that captures your image for selfies, video calls and unlocking with facial recognition. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the iPhone 17e when it no longer works properly.

The most common faults are a blurred or black image, a camera that no longer opens in apps, or messages reporting a camera error. A damaged camera can also disrupt facial recognition. Replacing the module restores a sharp image and normal operation in photo and video apps.

Before you start, switch the device off completely and work on a clean surface free from static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid excessive heat. After fitting, check the camera in the photo app, test a video call and check facial recognition before fully closing the device.

Tips

Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
Work on a clean surface protected from static electricity
Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending or forcing them
Check the camera and facial recognition before closing the device
Never puncture or bend the lithium battery

Fitting

Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
