Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of your iPhone 18 Pro Max. It is used for selfie photos, video calls and facial recognition, depending on the features supported. It is suitable for the most common faults with this component: blurred image, black screen on the selfie camera, camera no longer launching or distorted images after a drop.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid any pressure on the connectors. Never try to puncture or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, stop using it. Keep a moderate temperature during the repair.
After fitting, check the focus, brightness and facial recognition function in the settings. Carry out a few full charging cycles to make sure the device works correctly before normal use.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any handling
- Use an anti-static mat to protect the components
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending them
- Check the camera and facial recognition after fitting
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
