Description
The front camera is the photo and video module on the front of the iPhone 18 Pro. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition when this module is fitted in the device. A faulty front camera may show up as a blurred, black or frozen image, or as the camera no longer appearing in apps.
This part is an original manufacturer part, or an official Service Pack part. Its display and battery life are identical to those of a new unit. Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface, and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
After reassembly, check the front camera in the camera app, for photos and videos, as well as focus and brightness. Also check that the phone does not overheat. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using any device whose battery is swollen.
