Description
The front camera is the photo and video module located on the front of the iPhone Air. It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferencing. When it is damaged, the image may be blurred, dark, frozen or absent, and Face ID may be affected depending on the condition of the sensor and its cable.
This is an Original part from the manufacturer, or an official Service Pack part. It delivers the same result as a new module. Before fitting, switch the device off completely, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean surface away from static electricity. Avoid touching the gold contacts and handle the module by its edges.
After replacement, check that the image displays correctly in the Camera app, that the microphone works during a test call and that Face ID recognises your face. Keep heat moderate during the repair and, if the battery is swollen, stop using the device.
