Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (J320, 2016 model). It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition. When it is faulty, the image may be blurred, black, frozen or missing in photo and video apps.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use a small screwdriver and a plastic tool to open the device without forcing it. Take photos of the connector layout to help you when reassembling. Do not bend the ribbon cable and handle it by its edges.
Once the fitting is complete, check the operation before fully closing the device: test the front camera, the autofocus, video recording and the apps that use the camera. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture it.
