Description
This compatible front camera replaces the front camera module at the top of the screen of the Samsung J7 (J700, 2015 model). It is used for selfies and video calls. When damaged, the image may be blurry, black, frozen or missing in the camera app, and video calls no longer work properly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching electronic components unnecessarily. Use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it, and take care with the ribbon cables, which tear easily.
After fitting, check the function before closing the casing completely: test the front and rear cameras, focus, display and video calls. As with any compatible part, a quick test helps you spot a connection fault before final reassembly.
