Description
This front camera is a compatible part for the Samsung Galaxy J7 model J710, released in 2016. It replaces the front-facing camera module, the one used for selfies and video calls. When the front camera stops working, the screen may show a black, blurred or frozen image during calls, or the camera app may report an error.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and note the position of each screw. For disassembly, use suitable tools and apply moderate heat if necessary. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending or pulling it.
Once reassembly is complete, turn the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check the focus, the brightness, and the proper operation of the camera app and video calls.
