Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the front of your phone. It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferences. This compatible front camera is designed for the Samsung Galaxy J7 (J727, 2017). It can replace the current part when it no longer focuses, shows a blurry, dark or distorted image, or no longer launches in the camera app.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, in a well-lit place, and use suitable tools to open the phone without forcing it. Avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending or pulling it.
Once the module is installed, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the phone: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode, and check sharpness, brightness and video call function. Then close the phone, making sure the seals and cables are properly in place.
