Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the K10 (2016) model. It replaces a faulty front camera when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing in the camera app or during a video conference.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Handle the flexible cable (ribbon) carefully, without bending or pulling it, and use tools suited to opening the casing. Pay attention to the small screws, which it is useful to sort and store as you go.
After fitting, check that the camera is recognised by opening the camera app and testing the front camera. Also check focus and sharpness before closing the device completely. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it before refitting the cover.
