Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the top of the screen. It is used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the K10 (2017) model and lets you replace a faulty front camera, for example when the image is blurry, black or distorted, or when it no longer appears in apps.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and limit static electricity: touch an earthed metal surface or use an anti-static wrist strap. Avoid excessive heat during disassembly, and never force the fragile connectors.
After fitting, check the camera in the camera app and during a video call before fully closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Keep the screws in a small container so they do not get lost.

- Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending them or forcing the connectors.
- Protect the part from static electricity throughout handling.
- Test the camera before closing the full casing.
- If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture it.
