Description
This replacement front camera is designed for the K20 Plus (2016). It is used to take photos and videos from the front, notably for video calls and selfies. When it is faulty, you may notice a blurred, black, frozen or distorted image, or a complete absence of image in photo and video apps.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. Before fitting, switch off the device, remove the battery if the model allows it, and note the position of each connector. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge.
After fitting, check the camera works before fully closing the casing: test photo and video, front and rear, as well as focus. If the image remains abnormal, reopen the device and check that the ribbon cable is properly connected.
