Description
The front camera is the small module that captures the image for video calls, selfies and facial recognition. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the K31 (2020) when it is blurry, black, distorted or no longer launches in apps.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable screwdriver and plastic tweezers so you do not scratch the chassis. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the module, and never force the delicate connectors of the ribbon cable. Moderate heat is enough to loosen an adhesive, but never heat the lithium battery.
After fitting, check that the device starts up, then test the front camera, video calls and sharpness at different distances. If the battery was disconnected, charge the device gently and carry out a few full cycles to regain stable operation. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
