Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the K51 (2020) model. It replaces the current part when the image is blurred, black or distorted, or when the module no longer switches on.
This is a compatible part made by a third party: it is designed to fit the K51 (2020), but it is not supplied by the manufacturer. Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Avoid bending the ribbon cables and never force the connectors.
After replacement, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and make a test video call. If a swollen or damaged battery appears while handling the device, stop using it.
