Description
The front camera is the module that captures the images and videos used for calls and selfies. It is usually located at the top of the screen, next to the speaker. This compatible front camera is designed to replace the current part of the K8 (2016) when it is blurry, black, frozen or no longer activates.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, as static electricity can damage components. Use suitable tools to open the case and lift the connectors gently, without forcing them. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, switch the phone on and test the camera before closing the case completely. Check the focus, the brightness and the operation of the camera app. If a fault appears, reseat the part to check the connector.
